Thane Guardian Minister, sitting MLA and Congress – NCP candidate from 151 Belapur Constituency Ganesh Naik arrived with his family to caste his vote. A little past 7 in the morning Ganesh Naik arrived with his sons MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik, his younger son and NCP Airoli candidate Sandeep Naik and other members of the Naik family caste their vote at R F Naik School at Koperkhairane.
Since Koperkhairane falls in the Airoli constituency, the Naik family caste their vote for Sandeep Naik. Speaking to the media after casting their votes, Ganesh Naik said that he considered himself fortunate that he was getting an opportunity to vote for progressive thoughts in the form of his son Sandeep Naik. Ganesh Naik voiced confidence of the secular alliance emerging victorious in the state as well as the constituencies in Navi Mumbai. He added that it was incorrect to divide the community on the basis of language and region.
Well, the day of reckoning for Ganesh Naik is over and the fate of the most powerful secular leader of Navi Mumbai Ganesh Naik has been sealed by voters in the electronic voting machines.
